John Jamieson
John has worked in the music industry for over 15 years as musician, composer, arranger, producer and engineer.
He has first hand knowledge of playing keyboards live on stage with a wide range of genres such as the John Cougar tribute band "Rumbleseat" for many years that included being on the road for long periods.
For stage, he has arranged complete pieces and performed with classical orchestra on piano.
John has been asked by many clients from hard rock to children's performers to play with them at various live events over the years.
He and wife, cyn D, have performed on live TV and in clubs their original songs
under the name StoryScores.
John's love of music focused on the piano when he was just a little boy. His family didn't have a piano at home so at the age of 12, he and his friend would bus it to "The Ontario Science Centre" where they had a Plexiglas Kawai Upright showing the inner workings. For John though, it was a chance to practice and perform for all the people who stood around him listening.
Throughout school years, John formed bands and continued pursuing his music.
His education at "The Royal Conservatory of Music" led him to a teacher's degree.
All of his strength as musician, is mirrored in his devotion to all aspects of the process. They are interdependent when creating the best result, for everyone.

The musical inspiration that has led cyn D into singing and lyric writing under the name "StoryScores" combined with John's compositions probably came from her father, Bill Richards. This collection of hands-on experience forms a bond with those who come to Soundhouse.
